Here are some drawings that were recently done by survivors in the care of our amazing aftercare partners. Many survivors whom we support find healing through art therapy. This can help them heal from the past and draw hope to face the future. One girl drew herself living her dream as a fashion designer, and another drew herself as a future teacher. Another girl drew herself spending time with her mother, and another drew herself on the way to school with her brother. Art is a wonderful avenue to healing and helping survivors to ponder their future. The survivors who drew these pictures live in an aftercare home in South Asia that O.U.R. sponsors. The aftercare home is a safe space that provides a variety of support for the survivors, including legal assistance, counseling, education, and more.
