We are thrilled to announce that K9 Iris and her handler, Detective Pete Deates, recently received a new set of wheels! O.U.R. teamed up with Lynch Chevrolet in Wisconsin to purchase a vehicle for Iris and Detective Deates to use as they conduct investigations. ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ @_k9iris is one of the newest O.U.R.-sponsored Electronic Storage Device (ESD) detection canines. Detective Deates has utilized Iris on multiple search warrants where she located evidence. This is a vital piece to a successful prosecution of the accused offender. ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ To maintain her skills, members of local law enforcement give Iris daily challenges to find hidden memory cards throughout the department. Her training and other costs are 100% funded by O.U.R.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ We are excited to see the continued good that Iris and Detective Deates will do with the support of this new vehicle.
